Thanks Ron and Bill! To answer your question Ron, that probably took 25-30 minutes tops from out of the pack to splitting hairs. That is one of the Zipper made grizzlies.
The hardest part is setting the initial bevel . The new grind makes this so much easier! But I also purchased a very course DMT diamond steel that makes fairly quick work of this. Follow Ron's direction and don't move to the polishing stones until you are shaving with te course stone!!!
Then it's just a matter of polishing and stropping. One you have the initial bevel set, lets the stones do te work!! That means don't use too much pressure!
I market my grizzlies after each stone to ensure I'm getting an even polishing as well.
As a side, in working on some if the Pre-zipper grizzlies for kicks. Yeah that initial grind has taken a few sessions to get shaving on the course DMT diamond steel! Thanks so much to Ron and Zipper for working together to make this broadhead feasible for the lamen like me!
