Wenge and Zebra Bow
« on: March 22, 2013, 09:53:00 PM »
I just finished up this bow and getting ready to ship it.  Wanted to share pics. Woods used are wenge and zebra in the riser, and zebra limbs.

The limbs open up a little at full draw. That bow is 60" and will handle a 30" draw with out stacking.

Guys,
I was fortunate enough to shoot George's pass around bow last year.  Awesome design.  Fast, smooth, quiet.....shot better groups with that bow than most of the bows I own today.
Come to think of it.  I probably need to call him sometime after the bow fund gets built back up.

Sixby just made me a bow with that same combination of woods. It's beautiful as is yours. I have a Foley bow that is zebra and macassar ebony that's a looker also. I like zebrawood! Very nice, George, and I bet it's a sweet shooter.
