Terry - Tell us about your hat please.
« on: March 24, 2013, 11:06:00 PM »
Terry,

I started noticing your hat on Cade's thread.  Would you mind telling us about it?

Thanks
Ken Adkins

It is the secret to Terry's success in the woods.  Animals see that thing and stop to stare instead of running away, wondering "what the heck does that guy have on his head?"  :biglaugh:

Wow!  Honest question guys.

Apparently I have asked something I shouldn't have.  Times like this make me wish we could delete our own threads on TG.

Nah...I think he's just waiting for the patent to come through before he gives up any trade secrets!  He's adding to the Bow Hush line as the new "Hair Hush".  Soon everyone can have one just like it.....in your choice of color.

No worries Ken.  We're just taking the opportunity to give Terry the berries a bit while waiting for him to come along to give you a straight answer.    ;)

Glad you couldn't delete your own thread. This has provided many with an opportunity to enjoy Monday morning. Well except for Terry maybe. He even has a graemlin on the site with the hat   :scared:

"Little Jake"
You obviously don't know Terry. You might say he has a seriously receding hair line. He needs that hat to keep his head from getting cold/sun burned. With that said, that hat has seen the demize of lots of critters.

Ken' I'm sorry I started the ribbing about Terry's hat and we are just clowning around but I'm sure Terry has a good reason for it..I noticed he was very hard to pick out in the woods in one of his pics on the Hog hunt...Somewhere Terry even posted a pic of a Buck making fun of old Terry ...I bet Terry will even join in on this one so don't appologize just jump on in and do some good old fashion ribbing and you will do just fine...I myself always wondered the same question but didn't want to ask  :biglaugh:

I believe Terry uses the same Rancho Safari Ghille hat that I use and find very effective for us "ground pounders".

Fits great, light and breaks up the outline of the face with minimal face paint. I trimmed mine a little and absolutely no interference when shooting.

One thing about it... it's original and you can pick ol' Terry out in a crowd! :-)  I'd hate to see him lose it... kind of his trademark.
