Looking for a shooting buddy
« on: March 26, 2013, 02:02:00 PM »
I live in Massillon, Ohio and I'm looking for a shooting buddy to go to the 3D shoots that are around here. Traditional shooter only as I shoot longbow and no compound shooter. Willing to travel to shoots within a 60 mile radius.

There are lots of us around in the area even if it doesn't seem like it. There are 3-4 I can think of right off that frequent this site. I am not too big on 3d shoots or I would offer to accompany you. Good luck.

I will not be going to the 3D at Lone Eagle on April the 7th as I have a chance to go to the Kentucky Trad Fest in Harroldsburg, Ky the 5th, 6th, and 7th. Maybe we can meet for the Wednesday night shoot the 10th of April. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

God Bless
Gary

Gary, I'm in Hartville, along with ceme24. Also Magnus is just up the road a piece. Also Steve in canton is ....well, in Canton. Lots of shooters in the area. Kinda hard to get away for me these days.

Geauga bowmen also have some awesome shoots. Mike posts the shoots over in trad events.

As Kenny stated I am in hartville.  If you shoot with me you're going to likely get 2-5 buddies as I have young children that love 3d.

Our schedule is a but erratic.  I want to try lost Arrow as I know bansheewins and he's active out there and I know a guy out at Lone Eagle too.

I will PM you my phone. April 6-7 may work out

I think people who shoot with kids are a Blessing to the Children and to the sport of Traditional Archery. We need to help each other learn and to be available to teach the children all we can.

God Bless the Children.

Gary,
There is a shoot in Chesterland At Geauga Bowmen on April 13+14, that should be within your mile limit. This is a trad. only shoot with a real good turn out of shooters and a GREAT course in a beautiful setting. We would be honored if you could come up and join in the fun!!

Denny, (longstiks) talked me into coming to the turkeyshoot way back in '06. It was my first shoot ever and I have since become HOOKED (thanks Denny)!!

Gary, if you can make it to this shoot Friday night, the camping is almost as fun as the 3d!

I will have to try the Swap meet and shoot on the 11th - 12th of May. The 14th of April turned out to be a day I had a shoot at Lost Arrow in Massillon.
