Georgia on my mind
« on: March 28, 2013, 06:00:00 AM »
Heading down to G A one week from today. Myself and good friend Timmy C are looking forward for a couple of days to hunt hogs. We will be hunting with T G sponseor Russell Outdoor Guides. Hopefully we will get into some action, and if things work out maybe some Awsome bowfishing.I ran across the Russell web site on the sponsor classifieds and gave Jerry a call.  After a brief phone conversation I was sold. Jerry was a pleasure to deal with and patiently answered all my questions. I have never been to Georgia before but I am certainly looking forward to it. With any luck the weather ( and the hogs) will cooperate.

Yesterday thru a text, I asked Glen if he needed anything...his response..."just some Guru mojo"

Buddy lets get together this weekend and I'll have Cade rub your bow and arrows a bit....that's all the "mojo" you'll need!!

What he really needs are some sharp arrows, lol. Everything we do is tough, free range hunting and that means that you never can tell what will happen except that we will hunt hard and have one seriously good time. The fishing/bowfishing will keep geting better if we can get some solid warm weather.

Hey Glen, Here are a couple of pictures to help you sleep. Notice the feeder height compared to their backs....

Curt, I hope the VPA  penetrators you gave me will be good medicine. Razor sharp and flying true. I enjoyed the photos Jerry ,thanks and I hope there will be a few less guests at the pig party. Macbow,I will be staying at a hotel that Jerry reccomened that is very reasonable and not too far from hunting. You bet I will have my camera Izzy, hopefully some good pics. Glen, I hope You have a fantastic hunt. looking forward to seeing some good hero photos. Will You be bowfishing also?

I too have read the Russel guide page and hope to enjoy a Bear hunt with them in 2014. Looks like lots of overtime this summer. Might as well spend it on something fun. Good luck on Your hunt.
