It's going to happen afterall! Yesterday I purchased the tickets to Nebraska.

After doing the long search here and having a couple of invites (things didn't work out quite right) I had almost decided to cancel my plans of a Nebraska/Kansas combo turkey hunt.

But just when you least expect it, we get a call last friday looking for blems and the gentleman asked, "When is Jim going to come help me shoot some of these turkeys!"...."I've been inviting him for years".

Well, it was my long lost invite from Nebraska and oddly enough, he hadn't even seen any of the posts that I had made on the subject.

Going to be action packed even if the birds don't cooperate. Two days after coming home from the N.C. compton shoot I'll head to Nebraska for 3 days and then to Kansas for 3 days to visit my friend at Blue River Whitetails.....for turkeys that is. I'll then fly back to Atlanta where my wife and our new guy will pick me up at the airport on their way to the Tennesee Classic.

The talked about leaving me at the airport and just going to the classic without me....I'd be pi$$ed! The're just jealous.

I wonder if I have a bow to take?

When you are in Nebraska chase a few of those turkeys across the river to me. I will be somewhere in the Loess Hills.

I worked for an Omaha company and we would go to Nebraska every April for a sales meeting. The weather could be 65 degrees and sunny or 25 degrees and snowing, all in the same day!!!! I hope you have decent weather.
