I endede up ordering "Once upon a tine" from Barry Wensel.  I did try to  find "And the hoarse you rode in on" but came up with nothing after a few days.  I will keep my eye out for this one because it also seems like a great read.

one with the wilderness by mike mitten   come november by Gene wensel     long bows in the far north E. Donnall thomas jr  :thumbsup:all of these are great books to read i have done this a lot and i mean a lot.

Others have mentioned Jay Campbell's book, and I just finished it.  What a book!  

Along with the now departed Jay Massey, Mr. Campbell is now in my top 10 writers.
