We've been trying to do the same here with the South Florida Osceolas.
Got one true trophy opening morning, had a swing and a miss the next client, and the guy who just left really worked his butt off only to be foiled on the last day by a neighbor lady jogging with her dog...of all the luck. Birds have been really silent here. Not much talking at all lately.

Lol!  Blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.  The Toms that are with hens are vocal, but won't come in.  This bird was by himself and never made a sound.
