I'm getting ready to open a bait shop in my hometown. I'm wanting to carry some traditional gear for the traditional archers in the area. Just wondered if any of you guys knew of any suppliers I could contact. Thanks a lot!

Perry-Congrats on your bait shop. This isn't archery related, but I have some advice that might make you a little money. I'm a teacher, so I have most days off in the summer. I fish basically everyday in the summer. I usually am the first on and the first off the lakes. Most bait shops aren't open when I hit the water. One shop actually has worms in front of the store in a "pop machine." So even when he's closed, he still can make some money. Ahhh--fried Bluegills and grilled backstraps. Boy, do I love summer! Peace!

I am opening a store in my pole barn. At Leavenworth, IN, I've already thought about the vending machine for bait. One other thing I forgot to mention. I plan on trying to promote the little man as much as possible. I have a couple local guys that make turkey calls that are going to put their calls in my shop. If any of you trad gang members make calls or other hunting related items, or know of a place to purchase wholesale trad gear, please let me know. Thanks for the idea bluemoonrising!!!

If you know how to make strings make that part of your service.
Small items like nocks points and glue are what I can't find around my area.
Contact some of larger vendors to see if they offer wholesale.

Field points heavier than 125 grains would be nice. Also brass inserts, and feathers also.
