What do you all do to hold your bow in position while you are serving the string, putting in silencers and nock points.

I put mine in my bench vice with a couple of pieces of thick leather as a buffer....

Thats not a bad idea but I'm not sure I can bring myself to tighten down on my wooden grip.

I set/rest the bow across my lap horizontally, string up.
