Does anyone have both? Can you give us a breakdown on the difference in performance and feel?
What brace height have you had the best success using on the HS model?

I have both. Ive had the original for 3 years and just received the HS about 3 weeks ago. There is a 3lb. difference in them with the HS being 3lb less. I have not shot them back to back but can not tell much of a difference in the characteristics of the two. The HS is just as smooth with no stack at 29". I shoot the same arrows in them and seem to have the same speed. I will say the HS feels like Im drawing less than the 3lb. I got the HS with black glass for $650.00 and dont think you could beat it. Also only took three weeks from ordering to delivery at my door.

I just received my Whip HS about three weeks ago. This is my second one with this one having black glass and being a take down several pounds heavier than the other one I owned.
My brace height on this 60 incher is 71/8 inches and seems to be the best as recommeneded by Dan.
Good luck with yours

Slighty related, I was outside shooting my bow the other night when my next door neighbor popped his head out the patio door and said, "My cousin makes bows like that." He gave me his website, and it turns out that it's Toelke bows. Small world!
