HOW TO LOOK FOR FAKES

Seems some folks still don't know their way around the site to well...or forums in general...so he's some help...
We don't know 'screen names' to watch out for...click on my screen name, and just pretend it says 'capt bly'...when you click on it...you will see my 'REAL FULL NAME' Terry Green...then if you deal with this person and find out its NOT their real name but Bill Brown instead...then let us know...or, if his profile says hes from TX but wants you to send money to Ohio....well???.....that's all we are asking.

And never, never, never let them convince you to take an alleged Cashier's Check for more than the amount of the merchandise, expect you to cash it, keep your funds and send them the balance along with your merchandise.
I spent almost three decades in law enforcement you would not believe how many folks are lured into this sort of scam.

Terry and other mods, I can not begin to even imagine the amount of work it takes to provide us sliver slinging yahoos a place to share thoughts and conversations. I appreciate all the work and sympathize with you for all the dead beats that try to take advantage of the site. A heartfelt thank you to all of you. Art

Thanks. I love the site . I got lucky this was the first site I stumbled onto when we got internet a couple years ago ( that was in Ecuador we just got it here back in nowhere upstate NY this past December. Go figure ) and I set up camp here haven't been to other sites other than when I googled a product review ect. And ended up on one here or there and even in those brief encounters notice a difference and come running back here. I do appreciate the work involved, just helping mom and Dad with the computer avoiding scams and spam brings my twitch back.
