Thank for the nice comments everyone.
I "guided" my son Joseph on his first bow turkey hunt of the season yesterday morning and what a hunt. Gobbling all around us early, then I managed to call in a 3 year old longbeard to within 5 feet of our decoys. Joseph made up his mind to only shoot a bird if it presented a high percentage shot (we prefer CLOSE frontal or rear shot placement). The bird never have him the angle he wanted coming in and turned to walk away when something didn't suit him about our setup. He was close to our blind for several seconds, within 10 yards. Joseph could have forced a shot when the bird walked off but held to his plan. I'm very proud of his ethics. Other hunters could learn a thing or two from my 18 year old.
