Huntsman T/D recurve on order
« on: April 14, 2013, 01:06:00 PM »
I have admired Mark Kimber's Huntsman recurves for several years and you do not see them for sale used very often, so I bit the bullet and ordered one, gonna be about a 1 year wait but it will look something like this except the flare will be African Blackwood with macasser ebony outsides and macasser ebony limb vaneers, 62", 55#@28".

Danny, same here, I had seen pics and read about them but never actually seen or shot one. I did the same thing bit the bullet and  ordered one, have had it about 10 months now.  You won't be disappointed in the craftsmanship or the
Bow itself.  It's not designed for speed but is smooth, quick and shoots where you look and a beauty to behold.
Mine is on his website, it's the LH Tasmanian Blackheart
Sassafras  and Africian Blackwood riser with the Tas Blackheart Veners.  Gotta love a wood with Tasmanian in its name, gotta love those Huntsman bows as well, Good Choice.

You won't be disappointed mate...Mark is by far our best bowyer hands down and has put his bows through some very tough testing both here in Aussie and NZ.

G'day Danny,
I have owned two Huntsman's & they are the best Aussie made recurve. The first I Bought in 1998 & the second in 2001. This picture is my second one unfortunately I don't have a photo of the first.
