New Dave Johnson Longbow
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:17:00 PM »
I received this bow about a month ago and have been shooting it regularly ever since. Just a really sweet shooting backset Hill style. Eastern red cedar lams, white glass on the belly and brown on the back. 66" and 48# @ 28". Dave was super to work with on the build. Really pleased with the bow and the way it shoots.

Rather than discuss it in detail here I put a much longer description in the product review section if you want more information and pics take a look over there.

Nice bow.  I got mine from Dave about a month ago.  I must have been right after you or right before you.  I believe he said the guy before me was from Maryland.  All that said everything you say has been true for me.  Dave was a real pleasure to work with.  My bow, like yours, shoots great.  This bow was a departure from my HHA bows, and it is different in subtle ways.  It did not take long though to figure it out and be on my way to stellar shooting.  I need to figure out how to post pictures as Dave is first class and needs recognition as your pictures show.  Real pretty bow you have there.  Congrats.
