Great work! Been chasing them in the middle of the state for 2 days, not much gobbling.

Lefties Rule!  Good shooting on this bird, but I am not surprised.  How did the rest of the day go?

Niice!!!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

thanks for the compliments guys. to tell the whole story would take a couple hours of typing so the short hand version. i missed a jake in the a.m., he turned as i dumped the string and it went just passed his breast. (visible on the video). went to lunch then went back to the field for a stake out. and a little while later he pops out right next to the blind. he wanted a piece of the jake but i didn't let him get close enough and the rest of it is history. ( my dad was running the camera so it was even better, got everything so alot of thanks to him.)

Dave your tag is next it will be a great pre-season hunt for getting ready for bear just tell me when your ready to go and you will be the next one.

good luck everyone else
