Thanks guys. I've taken kids(my nephew and friend's sons) on our state's youth day turkey hunts for the past few years. They all got nice birds with shotguns. It was just a great feeling to have my daughter along.I can't wait until she's old enough to try for her own Tom.

Great stuff Nick, My stepdaughter just announced to me today that she wants to go hunting with me. She will have to wait and take her hunter safety courses before she can go. I'm really looking forward to taking her hunting. Congrats to you and your Turkey calling daughter. Way cool, thanks for sharing.

That is awesome, I remember my middle daughters first time turkey hunting at about 5 years old. When a big old gobbler let loose 40 yards from us, the look in her eyes was priceless!! Way to go the two of you!! Shawn

Hey David that's great. I'm waiting for a picture of "Blackwood" next to a nice gobbler.

Thanks. Hey Shawn, that's my favorite part about taking the kids on the youth day hunts. The closer the bird gets the more the kids shake and the heavy breathing starts, lol!
