been shooting 4 fletch for about 3 years now. if you cut yours from full length you can get 2 - 4" out of each one with no problem. i also like not having to look for the cock feather when nocking an arrow.

4 fletch, 5" low to regular rise, 60X120, with a slight nock adjusment gets me perfect riser clearance and plenty of forgiveness for those pesky pressure shots on the 3D course

3" x 4 fletch, 60 x 120, right-helical.
(EDIT:)
I watched Masters of the Barebow V.01, and tried to copy Roger Rothaar's fletching angles. My nocks are set so that the 60 degree angles are pointing up and down (in-line with the string), so the 120 degree portion is against the riser.
Arrow flight is good, but not perfect, and I'm not good enough to tell if it's my form, or the fletching style.

This may be dumb, but when you do the 60x120, how do you set your nock?
60 degree fletches verticle or horizontal?

4 fletch 60-120 with 5" feathers. I get the best flight with set-up shooting off the shelf of my longbow

4X 5" @ 90 degrees shield for me. Works well, stabilizes like nobodies business, don't have to look or feel for a cock feather.
