Kota Badlands Longbow ?
« on: April 27, 2013, 11:39:00 AM »
Anyone familiar with the Kota Badlands Longbow? If so, what do you think of them (quality, feel, and how they shoot)? If you own one could you post a pic of yours? Thanks

Very good bows, mild R/D that string to a "D" shape. I really like the grip, I would still have one if it were in my weight range.  They are also very affordable, I think you can get a new one for 550 or so, with some real nice wood options etc....

I had one and they are a great bow. I gave mine away  Christmas before last because someone did something special for me and I paid it forward. If not for that I would still have it.

My Kota prairie Swift is a very good quality recurve, would expect the same of his other models.

As good as they come. The badlands was the first custom bow I owned. Had a Kill Um that was the best looking and shooting I've owned. I sold it to someone on here in a moment of weakness. Top quality craftsmanship.

I had a badlands, great bow, super smooth! Mine was 57@28, but felt more like a 50@28. The quality was top notch as with all Kota bows and shot great

Had a Badlands longbow, too. Beautiful bacote veneers. Built like a tank. I think you would like it.
