while working today a recieved a call from a guy on my route who knew i was in to traditional archery. he told me he was helping an old lady clean her basement and found a old recurve bow. he asked if i was interested and i said i would take a look. an hour later i pulled up to his house and he came out with an OLD Grizzly, a bunch of arrows, a really neat belt/hip quiver, broad heads, tabs spare strings and more! bow is in decent/used shape with some small cracks and hazing as well as slight limb twist which i think can be fixed by Mr. Fix It Ron W! he said what will ya give me, i said i only have $22 in my pocket, he said SOLD! the whole kit and kaboodle! after talking with my friend Charlie i think it is a 67, what can ya tell me????

Oh man, that's cool.  I have a couple of old Griz that shoot great for me- one from the late '50's, the other from the early '70's.  The older one was a deal like yours.  When I feel off my game I pull a Griz down, and somehow I can magically shoot again.

Great Find Ken.  After Ron Cleans her up, I'll double your money    ;)

Our Buddy WoodChucker has the exact bow which he hunts with.  If I am not mistaken its the same weight to.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Ken, those look like Razorback 4 and 5 heads. They also had practice cassettes that you could slide on. They came in a plastic carton, and with a plastic guard that went over the blades.

If I am not mistaken, what Mr. Johnny Rambo used to defeat the Russian and VietNamese armies was some of these with the plastic guards in place and painted. .  his exploding arrows.

Those Bear heads look very useable.

Neat stuff.

The broadheads that spin 360 are Satellite broadheads and have'nt been made in years. And those Bear Razorbacks are nice!! It was a great find and the best $22 bucks spent!!   :clapper:
