Saying HI from michigan!

just wanted to stop in and say hi from michigan.. just a few things about me, i love shooting in general i have a compound but would much rather shoot my longbow or recurve! and am thinking about hunting with my longbow this year! hope to learn a lot from u guys!

I'm in Shelby Twp.

Swing by the River Bends Park to shoot sometime (Hamlin Rd. and Ryan Rd.).

The Range Office ("Tom Tom") is a crochity (sp?) old guy, but a trad-guy through and through.

Hi, and welcome.  Roger said there were a lot of folks on here from Michigan.  I'm here to tell you there are over 600, as I've recently sent e-mails to every one of them (if their e-mail address was current) inviting them to the Trad Shoot at Oakland County Sportsmen's Club on Sept 8th and 9th.  Being new here, I might have missed you, so here's your invitation.  Check out this thread for more info.

i shoot there all the time! i have a yearly there, tom tom is somthing else. lol  i usually have my hoyt compound and my viper longbow and wearing somthing a shirt that says "sharp knives loud guns" (my buddy's knife making company, treemanknives) with a fred bear hat on.

i have been to Oakland Country S. club 4 or 5 times now and every time i have a blast! u can count on me being there!

Welcome to Trad Gang.  I'm in White Lake not far from Dave.  If you come to the trad shoot at OCSC look me up at the ariel targets on Saturday.  I'll probably be there most of the day.  (usless Dave found me some help) We have a traditional league on Monday nights starting the 1st Monday in December that's a blast.  Come out and join us for that too.

I may come out for that league myself.    I'll be in Ontario on the 8th so I'll miss the trad shoot that weekend.
