going after mountain gobblers in the morning

would ya believe i have not been out yet this year and i am on vacation!!! barring a down pour myself and Bowspirit will be chasing some gobblers on the mountain in the morning. will be using "Bark Eater" my Kanati with some 250 grain VPA's! good amout of turkeys up there again.
I go by many names but Daddy is my favorite!

Don't shoot till you see the whites of their eyes. Which is pretty close considering you can't see them.    :bigsmyl:

had a great day but the turkeys didn't read the script!
my set up with a big tree to my back and a blow down in front.

my little piece of heaven. myself and Ron W own 5 acres just above this big ridge line! the top of the big rock ledge i'm standing on has 3 natural stone seats on the edge over looking ledges and flats below. i sit there often to collect my thoughts, smoke my pipe and recharge my life batteries.

Nice!  I had "bark eater" in my possession for about 5 days last month! I was wondering who it's pappa was!  That's awesome. Glad he found his way home!  Looks like a great time too!!
