LandShark meets turkey
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:52:00 AM »
My Simmons LandShark broadhead had an encounter with a turkey in NE Iowa this week. The turkey lost his life in the incident.  What a beautiful morning it was and it will be permanently etched in my mind in vivid color.  :)   It is also my first triple bearded bird.

I think the bird is a two year old, spurs barely over half an inch.  It is a big bird weighing 23 lbs and change.  The bow is a Silvertip that I have had for a number of years.

I am going to post another photo and the idea is to guess which one is the turkey.   :)
I think the biggest challenge I had that morning was in figuring out how to do a self-portrait with my camera. LOL
