New Toelke Classic Whip
« on: May 11, 2013, 09:48:00 AM »
Got my new Toelke Classic Whip today. 3 weeks from order date. I gotta say the Toelke boys really crushed this one. Definitely my new number one. It is 64" 51#@28" (I draw close to 30"). Macassar ebony riser with some figured myrtle limbs. We went very subtle with the overlays (looks like a little micarta mixed with the ebony) and Dan suggested a Beavertail grip. It is everything I asked for and some. I'll need to get some outdoor pics as it is hard to capture the grain in the ebony and figure in the limbs in artificial light. I'm ecstatic...Mike

yeah... that is very nice, classy...  and we all know its gonna shoot great.  It amazes me how Dan & Jared get so many bows out, so fast, and keep it at such a consistently high level.  Im not a bowyer but would love to just visit the shop and see how everything is laid out,  alot can be learned by folks that run a business so well.

Beautiful bow, some bows just beg for a beavetail grip. That one is killer, great choice.

Thanks guys. I'm really stoked about this bow. I've had a bunch of whips/classic whips. They've all been very pretty, but this one takes the cake...Mike

Dang, that's one good looking bow Mike. Just when you think they can't get any better, up pops something like this. Been thinking about a HS 2 piece, this might have pushed me over the edge.

I just picked up a pristine 2pc Toelke Whip off the classifieds as a birthday gift for my brother.  Micarta riser and juniper lams.  Definitely some of the best craftsmanship I've seen from a custom bowyer.  Now I want one.  You can't go wrong with a Toelke.
