Man, I saw a show on TV last night where they were bowfishing those things as they were jumping behind the boat and instantly thought "That's the same fish joebuck posted a pic of". It looked like a hoot, shooting those things in the air!

LA... That wheel opens and closes the screw gate that let's water through a pipe from Mississippi river into our lakes. The big head carp love to swim against the current and they jump at the mouth of the pipe.  We open and close that gate to restock our lakes accordingly. The bighead carp congregate at the screw gates.  It's pretty fun....I try to get a video tomorrow

Gotcha.  It looks like a bow fishing stand from the picture. But your feet aren't wet so you didn't wade out to sit on it.

Looks like a funnel and killin' zone!
