The long forgotten pics of knife and bow
« on: August 28, 2007, 09:47:00 PM »
Sorry for the delay, but have been real busy and trying to buy a new house. The house thing has been a real headache since we found out that the house is in probate and the judge has not ruled on the issue yet. The selling party has power of attorney, but the sale still has to go through the courts. We will sure be glad when this is over with. Anyway here are the pictures that I should have put up a long time ago.

The bow is a Bush Wacker by Dryad bows. Mike and Jason sure out did themselves with this one. The knife is a from a Hella knife blank also from Mike.

He custom made me a handle blank from bacote and osage so it would match my bow which is made from the same material. The horn belly on the bow is really unique and as with all of the Dryad bows it shoots great.

I can't wait to bloody this baby with a arkansas whitetail.
Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery you
miss by going too fast - you also miss the sense of where
you are going and why.

TMAC,

Just one correction,  it's osage and cocobolo not bocote.  LOL

They turned out to be a pretty good match.
