I reckon it's about time for ya'll to start saddling up. Most of the dirt roads should have dried up enough so you don't get stuck, but I'm sure you can still find a few places to get bogged down in, if you've really got your heart set on it.

Not sure what to do.  Spoke with "Samantha" at the GA DNR customer serive group (supposedly re licensing) about implications of purchasing the licenses on-line, and I was told that I do not need that WMA tag for "less than an annual licence", in other words , if I buy a three day, I am covered.

I explained what we discussed and she went to her supervisor who told her that she is correct...  I do not need a WMA tag if I buy a three day.  It sure doesn't say that in the regulations.

Just spoke with the site managers for the WMA and they agree with you RC.

Wow, there is a disconnect there.  Anyway, I will buy the WMA tag, no biggie, just want to do it correctly !

Heading down in the am.

Wish I could make it...but my wife already had plans to fly to Crested Butt to ski with my son who is a ski patroller there.  I'm stuck on the farm feeding 4 horses & 4 dogs.  Have a blast...tippit

A crested butte is far prettier than a crested butt.
Wish I could be at this hunt. Wish I could be mucking stalls, too.

Ain't we a group of "sorry to be missin' the hunt" souls. We need a crying in our beer make up day!

Mini rendezvous happened last night just north of Atlanta, 3pf us will be putting up camp in a few hours. I love that instant I hear my alarm and remember it's the pig hunt alarm and not the work one!!!! Just a few more hours!

Killie,
I don't muck stalls...they built fences & stall gates to keep me out!  I will feed occasionally but only for hunting points  :)

You are missing out, Jeff.
Some of my happiest memories are of mixing up hot bran mashes in the feed room on bitter cold afternoons.

I am bumping this to the top for the convenience of the folks who will post of the glorious camp they put up today, and the pigs that they will feast on tomorrow.

If there is pig on the barby, and beer in the coolerators, I would not count on posts until about ten tomorrow morning.

Anybody have a clue why you can't spell barby with an ie?
