Foam 2D/3d targets
« on: May 22, 2013, 01:07:00 PM »
I at one time had found some foam targets that were animal shaped foam that were what looked like the blue building foam thickness, but with animals painted on it. I thought that they were one of the sponsor here, but I can remember for sure. What I really liked was the price was like $30-40 each. Does anybody know who I am talking about? I have looked and have not been able to find them again. And if not how well does that blue building foam work, and does it leave a residue on arrows?

My one problem with Dinks is the arrows are really hard to pull out. Otherwise a good target at a good price.

Or you can make your own just find a Neoprene  foam maker and buy thier secounds (3-4 inch thick) and spray paint, draw in details  with markers (I make them for Trad archers of NJ)        comes in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets cut with a band saw or bread knife and stops arrows from my 55 pound bows (holes seem to close up)
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

you can glue (contact cement) two/3 sheets together, you need to clean/degease the sheets to get good bonding
