What dye for feathers?
« on: May 23, 2013, 10:30:00 PM »
I just got a 50 pack of barred feathers and they are only coloured on one side. As is they look Pretty underwhelming, so I thought I'd dye them myself or put a few more bars on. Would food dye work or will I need powder or something?

Thanks

I don't know about being dyed on one side, but I have used cool-aid with good success on feathers.
You might p-m Magnus about this, he is the feather Guru  :) .

Kool aid / food or rit dye all work, do a search or I can post the koolaid method

Use this method.  It's super easy.  I have not used Koolaid.  Only Rit dye with the same method.
