I had some on a used bow I bought a while ago. Looked all washed out and gray.

"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”  I rather like mind over carbon, not for everyone, but what i wanted, and they came out great.

I do agree they are washed out and gray but still make for a great camo pattern. If you want more of the copper to show then paint the glass first with a light color paint.

Not to hi jack but what is the best color to put copperheads skins on?

Bob Morrison (Bowbldr above) would know best as he has a fine reputation for snake skins. I’m told to first tint or paint the limbs white or a light color to get the true tone of the skins.
