Right now is Saturday afternoon, off season for most of us,what are you doing?
Well I am Trad Only oriented and professional bowhunter all year around and or I shoot one of my hundred bows(mostly up to 8 a day) or I sharpen BHs and make arrows.

Going Crazy for the next 4 months as I wait for hunting!
I did get some new Simmons Land Sharks in the mail 125gr with beeders. I sharpend them plus two knives good to shave last night. Very pleased with them
Thinking about taking a Sunday drive tomorrow to have a look at some public ground about an hour south of me I might want to hunt/camp on early season.
Anything to help pass the time!

Caught 14 brown trout this morning, with the biggest being a heavy 18". Saw a deer while fishing, so I went home and finished the handle on my newest Big River 21st Century style longbow. Just finished putting Barge cement on it and shooting it. Turned out great. Can't wait for the season. Maybe a new fletch color combo this year to go with the new bow and the new Treesharks that I'm practicing sharpening.

Planting food plots, re-stocking mineral sites, scouting, cleaning up trails, cutting fire wood, etc. The list is endless. Lol. I also try to squeeze some stumping in with my practice, and maybe do a little fishing.

Just sitting around waiting to get THIS DANG BOOT off my left foot. Two more weeks, hopefully. It's been a month so far and it's driving me absolutely batty.
My foot was hurting for months and finally went to the doctor. I apparently have a stress fracture in the ball of my foot. Have no idea how it happened. Had to cancel the second weekend of turkey season.
I'm taking it easy mainly so it will heal so I can start getting in Colorado shape. Otherwise CO won't happen this year.

Spending money! Two orders with Surewood, broadheads galore out of the classifieds, new KME broadhead sharpener, etc. Doing a lot of tuning and arrow making obsessing over this falls elk set up. Even built a life size elk target...my wife was real thrilled about that! Lol

Just made a squirrel call today. I found the design in an old book and wanted to try it out. Works well.
