I watched a video of a mature cat taking down a mature 4X4 muley buck. He ended up switching from a neck bite to a nose bite and took him down and sufficated him. A guy I know here in Oregon was hunting the late blacktail season. He walked out of the woods to see a big buck. Shot him and walked up to see his nose was all mangled. He had been in a battle with a cat and was barely hanging on.
Nothing wrong with keeping the predators in check.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

That is a beautiful cat! On a club i used to belong to here in south bama that is right on the bama/florida line, we had several sightings of a florida panther. One time i was walking down a narrow path through a briar patch after dark going back to my jeep.I had deer urine on my boots and i got to thinking,,,here i am in the dark in the middle of a briar patch smelling like deer pee and there has beena big cat here.I had chill bumps on my arms for a bit, lol.Snakewood here on trad gang doesnt post a lot of stories but he has been showing me some cat pics and it sounds like he would have some good stories to tell.

Arent you suppossed to let them chew on one hand while you knife them with the other? LOL That makes a much better story to tell than shooting them with a .300 weatherby.

my thinking is this: it doesnt matter what you carry in the woods to protect you from cats, they'll sneak up from behind and snap your neck before you even know they're there, bears on the other hand are worth the 300 magnum
Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and your bow and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.- Genesis 27:3

What an animal!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
