Well guys I haven't been on here in a while because I had to sell my black widow after killing several deer with it due to financial issues (college) but after 2 years I simply cannot hunt with a compound anymore! So I recently purchased a whisperstik voodoo which was shipped today and I can't explain how excited I am for it to get here! So long story short I just wanted to say hello and the Good Lord willin', I want be leaving this time

I took my compound out recently to try and sell it, couldn't stand shooting it, wasn't even fun anymore. Glad your back!!!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

best thing I ever did was sell my compound in 1992 so I would never be tempted again. Welcome back...

Welcome back to archery, your gadgets days look to be over.
I sold mine many years ago and never looked back, but in my stable the recurves breed like rats and now they are crowded!
Well they don't eat and don't drink so not a big issue.

Thanks for all the kind words guys and yes sir Mr. Bill you did and it was very beautiful and I already regret selling it but such is life. I will definitely own another widow in the future. Hope all is well.

That's what it is all about. Is it fun when you shoot or not? Compounds can be very aggravating. I keep one around in case I hurt my shoulder and can't shoot my other bows but I never shoot it. Some days I go out and shoot just to relax. Gary

Welcome back, hunting traditional is the best feeling in the world, you connect with the outdoors a lot closer. You use less equipment and have to get closer for your shot.
