« on: June 01, 2013, 09:12:00 PM »
After 35 years shooting in Jan shoulder pain started in and grad got worse I went down in bow weight to 40lbs. Now cant shoot much at all. Stage 4 arthritis. I will find out Thurs if it can be fixed. I am hoping for a very short recovery.Has anyone experienced any shoulder surgeries. Was your recovery 100% And how long was you  off from shooting.

Real Buckmaster i am going through the same thing. I have tried accupunture, steroid shots and traction. I have been fighting it for about 4 years. X-rays show arthritis in my neck and left shoulder and its pinching nerves in my left arm. I am losing my strength and can't shoot my 55lbs long bow more than a couple times with out bad pain. Doc told me no cure just try to control the pain. Celebrex has helped some i used to shoot 70lbs bows those days are gone. Good luck to ya. TD.
