stumping
« on: June 07, 2013, 02:17:00 AM »
I tell you stumping is addicting...after watching hours of grey Archer shooting stumps and a slow turkey season I thought I would try my hand at some long range stumps...it was wonderful and fantastic!!!!I typically don't shoot over 15 yards but I got this one  about 40   :archer2:  I'm sure it's no big deal and old hat to a lot of you but it sure was a proud moment for me thank you grey!

NOW I'm no expert.... BUT, that looks to me to be a double lung shot right there...  40 yds... even better...

Yep....stump looks a bit like a big bear up on his haunches...and you just lunged!  Great shooting!

Love pushing the distance while stumping, Great shot!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
