I'm considering getting a one piece Bears Paw recurve made by Neil Jacobson. But I'm not familer with this bow or maker. Anyone have one or info on them?

Excellent bows, Neil has been making them for several decades while staying on the leading edge of development. Two words that I use when shooting them are Performance & Quality.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I have 3 recurves and 1 longbow. Excellent performance and workmanship. Can't go wrong with them. The carbon limbs are whisper quiet and dead in the hand.

When I was searching for a traditional bow, all it took was 3 arrows through one of Neil's longbows and I knew I had found the bow I was looking for. Since that time I have aquired another longbow, and a recurve, all three are are of the upmost quality, and are real shooters. Neil, is also a great guy to work with!
Thanks,

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Neil is a great guy. His craftsmanship is elite. I have spent a lot of money with him and he treats his customers with fairness and truth. He has mastered carbon technology. Neil Jacobsen is one of the most humble and dignified bow hunters of our time with a trophy room second to none. If you want the truth and a top shelf product, Neil is the guy for you.

Borrowed a low poundage bow from a fellow Trad. Ganger to rehab from shoulder surgery. I am very impressed. For the money you will not go wrong.

The German bows are "Bearpaw" (or "Bodnik"), while Neil's bows are "Bear's Paw". Confusing, I know.
