What happened to the price of Rattle Snake skins. Went from $55.00 to 75.00. You talk about a mark up. I think I just bought my last set of skins.

Fires and dry weather in TX and demand from other places has raised my cost 3x what I used to pay for them.

Mike, thanks for letting us know the reason for the increase in price. A lot of us think they come from snake farms that raise them for different things so they would be in a controlled enviroment.

When more people want them the price just goes up, like it does with everything else.

I blame the animal planet BS reality snake wrangler shows showing people making a quick $20 catching a snake.  What happened to shows promoting a real love of nature..all it is about now is how to profit...crab fishing, snake catching, gator wrangling, wicked tunas, it just goes on and on.  That's why I bought those Wild America DVD's on the St. Jude's auction to watch with my daughter when she's older, nothing good on tv anymore.  Wild America- now there was a decent show about respecting and loving nature.
