Having spent time in camp with Joe and Tim I have seen the passion for the hunt and for their relationship.  I couldn't finish the letter the first time I saw it, but what proof of traditional bowhunting creating a bond like few other lifestyles could.

So touching.  One of my "bucket list" items is to go on an bowhunting elk hunt with my son, Blake.

My father no longer hunts, his last hunting excursion was a pack-in Colorado elk hunt back in '94.  Oh the great memories!

I can't help but think about the sons who do not have fathers that take them hunting or do not do anything with them. What a sad thing. This goes to show what kind of affect a dad can really have. You both have something very special. This is awesome!!!

Never had that closeness with my father. I wish I could have. Being able to share a love for hunting with your son or father is a priceless thing. Thanks for sharing that, and my you all be able to enjoy those bonds for years to come. God bless

This was a bittersweet year for me. I lost my Dad near the end of deer season. It was also the first year I took my son hunting with me. The last conversation I had with my Dad was about his grandson's first hunting experience. It made him smile, something I will never forget. Hope my son "gets it" and passes it on someday too.
