Sadly the skin looked better on the Internet than it really was.  Dan only got two grips from the whole skin that I bought.   I have a small piece for an accent to a sheath that will one day carry a knife with a handle made from the remnants of the riser.

That turned out to be a $100 grip.

Sure can't Bob.  It has lasted well also.  I just sent a message to a buddy who may have a connection.  There may be hope for a grip for you yet.

Just thinking out loud here, but red rat snake skin would look good. you'd have the black glass on the belly and the black/reds of the cocobolo riser to complement the skins. (Not the bright red rats but a more subtle shade of red)

Just a little candy for those waiting for USPS to deliver.  Juniper limbs and cocobolo riser.  Mmmm...

I received my Super D today....only 17 days from ordering.

I've only shot about 2 dozen arrows through it, but it is everything that everyone said it would be. It feels 3-5 pounds lighter than it is (checked on a scale) and is dead silent...not whisper quiet, bud dead silent.

I shot Dan an email to express my gratitude and will catch up with him next week to ask a few questions.

I'll update with pics tomorrow. Off to a wedding now...

TxAg do yourself a favor and shoot it a month for a good feel and then put an 8 strand SBD string on and notice the "great" go to  "perfection". Heck, you should have a spare string anyway.
Use Centaurs wool silencers with the SBD and now she'll ROCK!

I was very pleasantly surpised. I'm bitter that I'm sitting at a wedding right this moment an not shooting, haha!
