Glue on nock adaptor for uni-bushings??
« on: June 17, 2013, 08:26:00 AM »
Hey

Anyone know where I can get some kind of adaptor to stick into the Easton uni-bushings in aluminum arrows to allow me to use normal glue on nocks?

Arrows already cut to length, so cutting off the nock end and using some kind of adaptor on the raw shaft not an option.

Thanks for the help!!!

Ryan

I have seen them a couple of times on the big auction site, you may be able to find some NOS there. They were discontinued many years ago,I haven't seen them in quite awhile but that's the only place I've seen them.

I think I found a solution - and JRY above PM'd me confirming information.  I saw the ones on 3-rivers - they are advertised for some kind of carbon arrows and made no mention of the uni bushings.  On another vendor's website they had similar glue in adapters for Easton S-nock (uni-bushing).  I ordered a couple doz.  JRY PM'd me the size of the uni-bushing, and it looks like it is a match.

Too confusing.  These are probably the same as 3-rivers has, but with the poor product description on the site it is not clear.

I'd think there would be a market for these - I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one that prefers the glue on nocks to uni-nocks....

thanks for the replies, guys!

I'm not a fan of the uni nocks either.   Some things just shouldn't change. (KISS principle)  Have never found a uni nock that fit like a classic nock on the same string.
