Ellie's Gift
« on: June 21, 2013, 03:54:00 PM »
My post lady dropped off a box at my house a little while ago filled with a delicious assortment of cookies from Ellie Creps.  (With a little help from her parents I'm thinking    ;)  )   I am chewing one as I type!

The cookies are fantastic, but of course the real gift is what that family has done for the kids of St. Jude.    :notworthy:      :clapper:

Thank you Ellie!!

Yep.  Awesome!  I was needing a little something special today.  And looky here.

Wow !!!

I think this note is going on the fridge.  It's been a few years since our fridge had anything so nice on it.

Thank you Ellie.  I hope someday we get a chance meet, and maybe shoot bows.  Keep practicing!  And you did a most excellent job on those cookies   :clapper:    :goldtooth:

Mine arrived yesterday too.  Had said only 4 cookies, but there were sure more than 4.  I could share them, but they are so good that I will probably eat them all.  Thanks!

Just just got home from an 18 hour drive Aiken to Boston.  My box of cookies were waiting for me too.  Except my weight loss program is in jeopardy as I only wanted 4 cookies vs a hole box.  Maybe Ellie doesn't think I'm too fat after all...gotta try that logic on my wife.  Big Thanks Ellie along with a little help from Mom & Dad.

:)

Glad you guys are enjoying them!!!  We had a fun time putting them together, and I couldn't see just sending 4 cookies...there's always the option of sharing them.. :)

Thank you all again for your contributions, and if you didn't get your cookies yet, don't worry - the next shipment will go out soon and will cover everyone else on the list.

Enjoy!!

My apologies to everyone on the list that is still waiting.  Things got crazy, and with my wife's family in for an extended visit over the holiday, time has gotten away from us.

The plan is to bake more cookies this Sunday, then have them packed up to ship out first thing Monday morning - we want them to be as fresh as possible getting to you.

Sorry for the delay gents - we're working on it!

The last group of cookies shipped last week (Tuesday) - I know that at least one box made it.   :)   If you were on the list and didn't get your cookies, please let me know!

Enjoy guys - we definitely had fun pulling it together.

All the best,  Mark

I just got all my mail after vacation and among the bills and junk I found this

Now that's something awesome to come home too!

Being a diabetic myself I look forward to taking these to the range tonight to give away to fellow archery friends before they become too much of a temptation    :biglaugh:
