Hennig Preserve, awesome trails and lots of soft stumps. Saratoga springs area. Sorry I have no pics but I might do it again tomorrow and try to take some pics.  :archer2:

Just west of Saratoga 45 min is where the Stumpfest was this year......Rockwood State Forest, you can do a search on here and see some photos......Do search on the events page.

Only a mile from my house. Could be wrong but I don't think you can target shoot or hunt in there.

It looks like it it REALLY close to Fish House Fish and Game club near Sacancaga Lake.

It says passive recreation not sure if that includes stump shootin    :dunno:   but it's one mile from where I'm staying. There is some state land nearby I could check out too

I am originally from NY and we are visiting family and friends. I am staying at Lake Nancy just east of Sacandaga reservoir.
