I never thought I was the jealous type
« on: June 22, 2013, 01:18:00 PM »
I got my new girlfriend in the mail today. She's been thru a lot of hands. For some of you that may not know, Bill sent his new design 1-pc bow around a few months back to any and all that wanted to shoot it. I never got on the list but admired the nice lines and design. But now she is mine.....all mine!
In all seriousness I won the St. Judes auction for the prototype Zipstick Bill Dunn donated. Bill even went so far as to donate one of his quivers to go along with this bow. I haven't received that yet but it should make for a great combination.

I took it out and played with the brace height a little and shot some 55 lb woodies at 15 yards. No other tuning at all.I know this is a prototype but I honestly can't think what could have been done to improve this design. I was afraid the handle might be too big for my hand, but it fits perfectly. This is a great bow.
Thank you Bill. I love it.

The Zipsticks are very nice one pieces. I shot pro to early on and shot Bill's in hog camp.

I'm glad the prototype has a new home. I'm especially glad it will be getting some use! Thanks for bidding it up.

wow, that is a great bow, I shot it on the pass around. Furthermore, it was a great gesture for Bill to donate it for the kids; but I would expect nothing less from Bill Dunn, he is one of the Good Guys and he builds some of the best bows out there.
