Nope a Super D.  I think Dan modifies the riser a little for short draw guys like me.  The bow is also strung in the picture.

Great looking bow Mike, I would like to give one a go someday. Took a few off my bucket list at Denton.

Never seems to be enough time when it comes to bows. I never wanted to be a collector. My search has always been hunting related. With that being said there is always a couple bows that catch my attention.
Travel cost, license fees, hunting fees ect. I would rather hunt than collect and stay home.

21" hoyt excel riser with 45# medium black max carbon limbs. Hoyt Pro-hunter stick on rest. 55/75 GT Blems from Big Jim's cut to 31" with either Grizzly's or Ace's up front. Total arrow weights from 495-520 grains.

Those are some of the first shots ever from that bow. I shoot that thing better than anything else I've had!

Hickory self bow 50#@28 with 31" river cane two fletch self knocked arrows with either woodamans or zwickey two blade. Hoping for my first trad kill this year. I love the thought of killing animals with a bow and arrow I made the way the Indians did it. This river cane is good stuff!!!!

Mine will be the same setup as last year but with newer arrows:

Sarells Sierra longbow, cocobolo riser and bamboo limbs, 50lbs@28"

Kanati Dual Arc Quiver loaded with nicely tuned arrows and either RFA Pheonix or Magnus Stinger broadheads

Asbell wool and wool hat.  Camo wool bibs under that.

As she was last year...

As she is this year...

1pc and 2pc Sarrels Sierra Mountain Longbows - both 53.5lbs @ 29"

I'm a little late but here it is! I finally have been getting to shoot it. My arm is all healed and shooting is coming along nicely! I will also be adding an EFA three arrow quiver and some 150gr four blade Magnus Stingers to this when I get a few extra bucks. Can't wait to get out in the woods.
