KME and Tree Sharks

I'm thinking about getting some Simmons Tree Sharks, and I'm wondering if any of you have used the KME knife sharpener on these heads. Thanks!

I just used my KME knife sharpener with the new 3 sided jewel stick that Ron sells for it and all I can say is WOW. I never had a problem getting them hair popin sharp but now I can get them so sharp it scares me to look at them.

Ron has a bunch of new stuff coming.  One being the Jewel Stick. Not gonna let the cat out of the bag but if you are Denton Hill...you might want to stop by the booth and check some of Ron's new stuff out.  Sharpster is gonna kick my butt.  Sorry Ron but I am excited about the new stuff.

The KME knife sharpener works like a charm on the big tree sharks. You just gotta get them clamped in right. I can get mine sharp enough to shave my face with the KME. And yes. I've tried it! HA!  Good luck out there guys!

So, the 3-sided jewel stick will probably work with the Centaur's Big Game Heads, also..??? Peace!

I use the broadhead sharpener, a chain saw file and a oval ceramic rod from Gander Mountain. Just hold the KME in your left hand so the roller is facing up and work the BH til sharp with the file first and touch it up with the rod.  Works great.

I hunted with Ron and Bill & Tracy Dunn right after the Atlanta Blade Show this spring at the Bacon Strip.  I showed him my Hog Stripper saying I was about to abort making them cause it was impossible to get as sharp as a regular blade.  I could get it sharp enough to work but NOT to what I expected as being sharp. I had tried ceramic sticks, Lanski & Gatco systems, oval diamond sticks, etc but nothing made it hair splitting sharp!

Ron said wait a minute, walked to his truck, and handed me his new 3 sided Jewelstik.  That thing is a beauty to behold for sharpening an inside curve!! On sharpening broadheads like Simmons or Hill with that inside curve, you would get 'em sharp enough to cut you just looking at 'em   :)

A tight inside curve is now easy to get sharp.  Thanks Ron...tippit

Ron had one on the pig hunt this spring. It works AMAZINGLY well. Especially with a little dab of his secret weapon. Ron has some great new products coming out.

I don't think Ron sleeps... If he's not working, he's thinking up new ideas!!

His tireless efforts are our gains!

The other cool thing about the Jewelstik is the diamond dust doesn't seem to wear thin as in some other products I've used.  Don't know if it's the KME chewing gum or not...but it sure works for me...tippit

Ron, Thank you so much! I'm keeping these hid from the knife guys. They're a sneaky bunch! May try to abscond with one.    :)

These things are quality all the way.

This is the first I've heard of the jewel sticks.
