Just felt the urge to loose a few arrows out of an old timer today, so I strung up my early 50's Ben Pearson Javelina, 66" 53 @ 28 and all business.
Back then there was no carbon, fast flight, ILF's, warfs ETC. just meat and potato bows that were built to hunt and shoot, and thats what they did and still do, ooooh so well, at least those that have survived time.
Even though they lack the fancy veneers and modern composites of today, never under estimate the old timers, they may just surprise you.....so much in fact, that you might find yourself sitting in your favorite stand with one.
