Who makes a good 145gr screw in broadhead?

Curious? I have 145gr fps but it seems that 150 is a standard broadhead weight in that class.

Not sure but I don't think you'll see the difference in 5 grains.

For the bow weights you have listed in your signature, the Magnus 4 blade Stinger would be a good choice. these are 150 grains....5 grains is neglible.

If it is gona bother you, I can send you some 5 grain brass washers to add behind your field points. Then you'll have 150 grains up front whether practicing or hunting.  I have plenty and will send them for free if you wana pm me your address.

Scirocco made by Hornes archery is a 145 gr. without the bleeder and a 150 gr with the bleeder. It's a great looking head I'm thinking of trying one,it's shows to be 1 5/16 wide cut.

The Magnus Stinger and Zephyr Scirocco are both great suggestions. Both broadheads fly extremely well and sharpen up quite easily.

Tusker makes a nice 145 gr screw in head. I used them last year. Ordered pre-sharpened ones because I can't sharpen two blades and they seemed to hold an edge really well. Bassbow is right though five grains won't make a lick of difference.

I shoot 150gr broadheads. I also use the 5gr brass washers from 3Rivers. If I do not have a washer with me and just use the 145gr point, I can't tell any difference. I just like everything to be the same so I tune with the washer and shoot the washers on my field points so my practice points and my broadheads all weigh the same.

Take a look at the steel force Hellfire 4 blade head as well from 3 rivers. From what I have heard and from past experiences during a few years with wheels and steel force heads it should be a pretty good head and for a decent price.

If you're looking for 3 blade, the Kustom King Trailmaker is 145 grains, made by VPA and is an excellent head.

I'd go with the 150 Stinger.

150 stinger = awesome. I think I'm going to qswitch over to that now that thundervalley ahs jacked up the price on magnus classic.

but 5 grains you wont notice. You'll still be way clsoer in spine ansd weight than even a really awesome set of woodies will ever be.
