Folks with long draw lengths do shoot short(er) bows, but they must be impervious to finger pinch. As I've already noted, bow design has a lot todo with how smoothly a bow draws as well as finger pinch. Finger pinch also seems to be less if one shoots three under. Lots of variables to consider. Best if you can try the bow you want to buy to determine for yourself if it works for you. Good luck.
