I slipped on a steep hill side once and landed square on my butt. My Schulz Hunter, bless her heart, tried to break my fall and cracked the bottom tip. The bow was 68" long and was 72 at 28, now it is 65&3/4" and 63 at 26.  It is one of the finest 26" draw shooting longbows ever created and then recreated.

Send me your bow and I will fix it for you if only the tip or a very short piece is broken. It will only cost you shipping and you will get a heavier bow. Maybe just like you wanted.
Pm me if interested.
God bless, Steve

I'd take Sixby's offer. I was actually going to recommend just piking the bow. But if you can get a proper bowyer to do it for you, and go up in weight a bit .... man thats a win win win win situation.

TAKE SIXBY'S OFFER!!!!  He is an amazing guy and will for sure do you right.  There's no doubt about that.  I can't thank him enough for what he did for me.  Fixing the tip will bring the weight up close to what your wanting.

If it does put my bow poundage up there can I safely pratice shooting with my 55-60spine Cedar arrows or would there be a chance of them snaping? I got a couple 2117s laying around too.

Not a problem. I can fix that and make it ff tips at the same time. Have her back to you in nothing flat. In fact from what I see if I make small tips it won't even effect the poundage over about five lbs max and if I have to I could probably take that off but would have to refinish the limbs.
You will have to have a shorter string though.

God bless, steve

Two Blade,
I know how you feel. I had a recurve for about a month and a half. Got to about half draw when I heard a crack. Delam on the bottom limb. Very bad feeling.
God Bless

:archer:

PS: You can build something safer than a tube for shipping.
