we are, here at home, question for us, is, are we going to get to deer hunt, those tags are a little bit harder to get and have a place to hunt at the same time if we go for whitetail on the plains which is what we like to do for deer hunting! But we drew those too so we should have a great fall!

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

This year will be my nineteenth year chasing elk with a bow.  One year in Idaho and the rest in Colorado.  3/4 of those years with wheels but the last 3 or 4 with my longbow - still waiting for the right LB shot.

Headed to Colorado again.  If I'm lucky enough to fill my tag early I'll be headed to Idaho and take the long way home.

Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

SW Montana with my buddy at his elk camp for 2 weeks in late Sept.  His boy is coming down to hunt too, so it will be a good time for sure.  All Hill style longbow camp this year.  First time back out in the mountains since 2010, time flies......
